AMS Marlow Limited – Privacy Notice for Leaseholders
The following information is provided to comply with General Data Protection Regulations.
What Data Is Collected:
Names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, personal identification documents, service charge and ground rent payment information and leases.
Why Is It Collected & By Whom:
It is collected by AMS Marlow Limited to meet legal obligations, to enable contractual obligations to another party (either a freeholder or Residents Management Company) to be fulfilled, for legitimate interests and when consent is provided.
What is the Lawful Basis for the Data Being Held:
The lawful basis for the data being held is:
- Legal obligation; HMRC Anti Money Laundering Regulations for Trust or Service Provider Companies.
- Contract; to fulfil our contractual obligations with another party.
- Legitimate Interest; (i) to ensure the Health & Safety of staff conducting property inspections, (ii) to enable AMS Marlow Ltd to defend any legal, insurance or Ombudsman claims made.
- Consent; to receive information about other products and services.
The data will be held for seven years following assignment of a lease. This is necessary to comply with Contractual Obligations to another party and the Legitimate Interests detailed above. Following the end of this seven year period, all data will be securely destroyed.
The data may be shared with; your freeholder and other agents or advisors appointed by them, contractors and insurance brokers from our approved list (available on request), solicitors and mortgage companies appointed by you in connection with the sale of a property.
